The tea literally means Lu'an Melon Seed, or Lu'an Melon Slice due to the shape of the processed tea leaves which are flat and oval, resembling a melon seed. Lu'an Guapian boasts high yield. It is a single-leaf tea without stems and buds. As a kind of baked green tea, Lu'an Guapian has a melon-seed-like dark green leaves with white fuzz on the surface.
